ACME Solar Holdings shares jumped 9.73 per cent to ₹296.77 on Monday morning, after the renewable energy company reported impressive first-quarter results that showed a 76 per cent year-on-year increase in EBITDA to ₹531 crore.
The stock opened at ₹284.85 against Friday’s close of ₹270.45 and hit a high of ₹297 during morning trade. Trading volumes were robust with 60.76 lakh shares changing hands worth ₹177.45 crore by 10.10 am, indicating strong investor interest following the quarterly earnings announcement.
ACME Solar’s Q1 FY26 results, released on July 25, showed total revenue growing 71.8 per cent to ₹584 crore while profit after tax surged an exceptional 9,319 per cent to ₹131 crore compared to just ₹1 crore in the same quarter last year. The company maintained a healthy EBITDA margin of 90.9 per cent.
The strong performance was driven by the commissioning of 350 MW projects during the quarter, including the company’s first 50 MW wind project in Gujarat. This expansion took ACME’s operational portfolio to 2,890 MW, representing 115.7 per cent growth year-on-year.
ACME also secured its maiden standalone battery energy storage system projects worth 550 MWh contracted with NHPC and signed power purchase agreements for 550 MW of new capacity. The company’s debt-to-EBITDA ratio stood at a comfortable 4.2x, well within its targeted range of 5.5x.
